Positions:
Art Director/Layout Artist/Cartoonist/Webmaster
As art director, I decide how the content is to be laid
out, suggesting type faces, colors, etc. I am also responsible
for creating original illustrations and cartoons that
go along with some clip art to be interspersed throughout
the paper. I create the drawings for the Rudytoons and
write and draw the Nuthouse comic strip. I have also
created some of the puzzles found on the comics page.
As the webmaster I have designed the look and feel of
the Web site as well as created the graphics and composed
the HTML. I also create and assign email addresses for
the staff and take care of web maintenance and troubleshooting.
Specific
duties include:
Designing look and feel of the paper and Web site, organizing
content for both.

Site designer and coding specialist. Took designers'
work and formatted it into HTML for sites such as Highland
Cleaners, Alton Webb Real Estate, and Armada Powerboats.
Created animated banner ads for Stationpoint.com. Created
Flash animation for use in sales. Designed look and
feel for Manning Truck Equipment's ecommerce Internet
site. Participated in a webcast for LASIK eye surgery
on NASCAR driver Jeff Green.
Worked on many designs for different versions of ABCpoint.com's
Web site as well as the Kentuckiana ABC Chapter's site.
Maintained creative look and feel on all new services
added to ABCpoint.com. Worked on integration of look
and feel of ABC.org's site with ABCpoint.com's site.
Created promotional materials (one-sheets, CD packaging,
advertisements) for marketing dept.
